Cottage Food Laws

Creekside Breads and Sourdough with Essie operates under the Maryland Cottage Food Law.  State law requires me to let you know that I bake in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.  I can assure you that every possible care is taken to insure clean and sanitary conditions.  My kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free.  However, while prepping sourdough bread dough and the starter for my classes, the only ingredient that would be coming in contact with it is gluten.  All flours used are artisan quality and certified organic.
